Introducing The All New Renault Trafic
There will be 4 versions of Renaults all new advanced 1.6 Litre Dci common rail diesel engine on offer, an 89bhp, 113bhp, 118bhp and a 138bhp version. We feel that the 1.6 DCi 115 113bhp model will be the one that will convert best into a fridge van.
Coolvan have recently had access to Renault UK’s L1 H1 1.6 DCi 115 demonstrator and can genuinely say it drives superbly, the engine is smooth and pulls really well throughout the gears and with ABS with EBD and ESC stability control the van feels safe on the road as well.
What is going to be a big selling point for this van is its fuel economy, Renault have reduced the size of the engines from a 2.0 litre to a 1.6 litre without losing any power output from the engine, Renault are actually claiming a saving or around £1200 in fuel against the old model Trafic afer 3 years, 60,000 miles.
The vans will also come really well specified with the Business specification coming fitted with remote central locking, electric windows, DAB digital radio with USB connection and audio streaming and bluetooth handsfree telephone.
