Fridge and Conversion Specification:

This new refrigerated van by CoolVan is insulated by traditional methods using high density styrofoam throughout overlayed on plywood with fibreglass and resin. Finished in white walls with a light grey floor to form a joint free, impervious surface. The van has a recessed LED interior light operated from door openings. The doors are insulated and then finished in white GRP.

A wide variety of fridge systems are available - CoolVan always specifies the best fridge for the job but if you have your own preference of fridge system then we can quote accordingly. Our standard specification incorporates fridge systems from either Hubbard (360AM) or GAH (Lance LC20S).

CoolVan determines chilled operation as being 0°C/+3°C and freeze operation as being -18°C. Bespoke conversions for deep freeze (-25°C) and heat/cool operation (up to +20°C) are available on request.

Standby is the electric plug-in facility. This is normally single phase (standard domestic supply @ 230v) but we can specify 3-phase standby if so requested. Please note that most refrigeration systems will only operate with the vehicle engine operating. Standby allows the operator to pre-cool the load space and to use the vehicle for storage if so required.

Warranty:

The conversion is covered by our full 36 months 'Return to Base' warranty.
